The industries we serve today
Software
Most of our work is software localization. We are preferred supplier for the Dutch language for four of the top ten business software producers. Software localization is about long-term relationships that ensure quality through agreed working methods, tools and procedures for terminology management. The clients for whom we developed our workflow are still with us today.
Consumer Electronics
This more mature industry with its unique way of working is now catching up with its methodology in order to prepare products for local markets. For these clients we call on our state-of-the-art methods developed in the software industry to improve their time-to-market.
Industrial Equipment & Medical Systems
These are particularly difficult industries to provide with suitable translations. Localization partners can really only help in the context of a long-term relationship. Both parties need to invest some ramp-up time to deal with industry-specific technology and terminology. The clients we have today have made that choice and, over time, a relationship of trust has developed. With new clients, both parties must agree to devote the extra time needed for terminology, revisions and alterations to get things just right. In return we receive a guaranteed minimum workload on an annual basis.
Gaming
From a workflow and technical perspective this work is not very different from business software localization. With games however - more than with other products - the target country and language also affect the game itself, especially where violence, historical events, foul language, or sex are involved. Successful localization requires a close working relationship between translators, editors and game makers.
